Welcome to the official website of Ogun State Judicial Service Commission

On behalf of the Judicial Service Commission, we warmly welcome you to this website; The Ogun State Judicial Service Commission was established in November, 1979. The Judicial Service Commission is a creation of statute i.e; Section 197 (1) (C) of Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as Amended). Its responsibilities include advising the National Judicial Council on suitable persons for nomination to the office of the Chief Judge, President Customary Court of Appeal and other Honourable Judges of the State.

The Chief Judge/Chairman of the Ogun State Judicial Service Commission

Hon. Justice Mosunmola Arinola Dipeolu FICMC, FHNR

Hon. Justice Mosunmola Arinola Dipeolu FICMC, FHNR was born on May 5, 1959. His Lordship attended St. Mary’s Primary School, Broad Street, Lagos, from 1965 to 1970 for primary education. In 1971, His Lordship proceeded to Abeokuta Girls’ Grammar School, Abeokuta, where His Lordship completed secondary education in 1976. Subsequently, His Lordship attended Ahmadiyya College, Agege, Lagos State, and obtained a Higher School Certificate in 1978.

Between January 1979 and February 1981, His Lordship pursued a Law degree (LLB) at the University of Buckingham, England. His Lordship later attended the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos, and was called to the Bar in July 1982. Following this, His Lordship completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme at the Nigerian Ports Authority, Broad Street, Lagos.
