Ogun State Judicial Service Commission has adopted the following Core Values, being an expression of the philosophy that guides the Judicial Service Commission in all its internal and external working relations:

Independence:

While working within its mandate, Ogun State Judicial Service Commission will resist any undue influence and interference. The commission will take appropriate steps to install independence as a core value for all staff of the Judiciary.

Fairness:

Ogun State Judicial Service Commission treats all staff and users of the Judicial Service equitably, impartially, respectfully and in a transparent manner, based on strict adherence to communicated policies and regulations.

Professionalism:

The Ogun State Judicial Service Commission operates efficiently and effectively, based on honesty, reliability, and a zero-tolerance approach to corruption, while strictly adhering to its code of ethics and code of conduct.

Accountability:

While safeguarding the independence of the Judicial Service, the Ogun State Judicial Service Commission acknowledges its accountability to the general public from which it derives its mandate and is responsive to the legitimate concerns and expectations of its stakeholders.

Founding Principles

The Ogun State Judicial Service Commission has adopted the following Founding Principles, which together with its Core Values form the foundation of its organizational culture and guide the realization of its Vision:

1. Competent Judicial Service
The Ogun State Judicial Service Commission is committed to fostering an enabling environment where judicial personnel are thoroughly trained, well-equipped, and adequately resourced to deliver services with maximum effectiveness and efficiency.

2. Performance-Driven Culture
The Commission promotes a culture of consistent implementation, diligent monitoring, and periodic review of its plans and policies to ensure sustained institutional performance.

To enhance the efficiency and commitment of the state’s judicial service in delivering justice, while increasing access—especially for the indigent—to a fair and impartial judicial system.

Mission
To establish and maintain a disciplined, vibrant, and dedicated workforce that is responsive to the needs of the populace, ensuring that justice is accessible to all citizens.
