This is to inform the General Public that when the above mentioned Post was to be filled, the following steps were taken by the Judicial Service Commission viz:
All the four (4) Chief Magistrates Grade 1 in the Ogun State Judiciary were invited for an Oral Interview.
They are:-
Mrs. O. A. Sofowora.
Mr. A. O. Araba.
Mrs. I. A. Adelaja.
Mr. O. O. Ojo.
At the end, Mr. A. O. Araba had the highest score and was thus appointed accordingly.
This information becomes necessary in the light of the falsehood being spread in some quarters regarding the said Appointment.
APPOINTMENT OF CUSTOMARY COURT JUDGES AND 2015 PROMOTION EXERCISE
1. Appointment of Customary Court Judges and 2015 Promotion Exercise successfully conducted.
2. Some erring Staff were sanctioned appropriately.
3. Mrs.Abimbola Akeredolu,(former Ogun State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice/former
member of the Ogun State Judicial Service Commission was sworn in as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (S.A.N.)
on the 21st of September ,2015.
